Iwi calls on Kaingaroa Forest users to respect the law

The CNI Iwi Collective is calling on all users of the Kaingaroa Forest to respect the law.

Reports of hunters being threatened and people saying they will illegally enter closed sections of the forest have dismayed the collective.

The CNI Iwi Collective, as the land owner, will be working with the licensees, Police, and local authorities to do whatever is required to ensure the safety of all parties lawfully accessing Kaingaroa lands.

In the meantime the collective does not support any unlawful action undertaken by any party trying to access the Kaingaroa Forest estate while these issues are being worked through.
