The Monarchist League Welcomes the Visit of Prince Edward

 
The Monarchist League of New Zealand welcomes the government’s announcement that Prince Edward will be visiting New Zealand from the 2nd to 5th of November.  He continues the tradition of his father, Prince Philip, in supporting young kiwis through the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

The League encourages the government to invite New Zealand’s Royal Family to undertake more activities in this country.  It is important to note that the Royal Family can only undertake trips throughout New Zealand at the request of the government.

Prince Edward last visited New Zealand in 2007 and prior to that was in the country in 2005.  The Prince lived and worked in New Zealand as a tutor at Wanganui Collegiate School in the early 80’s.
