Requiem Mass today for Poland ’s President and Officials

A Requiem Mass will take place today to pay tribute to Poland ’s President, Mr Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria Kaczynska, government officials and other dignitaries who were killed in the air tragedy in Smolensk on Saturday.

The Mass will be held at 12pm at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Hill St , Thorndon Wellington . The Mass will be officiated by Archbishop John Dew. Representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and other official dignitaries will be attending.

The public are welcome to attend.
