The Nation This Weekend

In the first of our extended "Hard Talk" interviews Sean Plunket is face to face with Roger Kerr from the Round Table who reflects on a lifetime of lobbying politicians for a more free market New Zealand. The interview will touch on his own evaluation of the politicians he has worked with over the years and why he believes New Zealand faces an economic crisis as challenging as it did when David Lange came into power in 1984.

He will talk frankly about the current Government and what he believes they need to do to meet that challenge.

Note that this weekend only (because of production requirements) there will be no extra Sunday panel. Instead our panelists, Fran O'Sullivan and Chris Trotter, will follow Sean's interview with Roger.

Duncan Garner will also be on the programme with an interview to be advised later in the week.
