PRESS RELEASE

Gain for Conservatives Consistent
The latest New Zealand Herald DigiPoll, released this afternoon, features the Conservative Party for the first time.
Support for the party has gone from 0 to 1.1%, higher than Act, United Future, and Mana.
Meanwhile, New Zealand First support has slipped by 1.1%.
“It’s not surprising to see the drop in New Zealand First support,” says Conservative Party leader Colin Craig, “because voters realise they need to vote for a party that can win a seat, to make sure their vote will count”.
Independent polling carried out last month shows Colin Craig has a comfortable lead in the Rodney electorate.
This rising support for the Conservatives is consistent with the latest Horizion political polls, in which the Conservative Party started on 2.2% two weeks ago, and is trending upwards, currently with 4.1% support nationwide.
