Six candidates vying to be the next Auckland City Mayor will be presenting their vision for the city at Victory Christian Church (VCC) next week.

John Palino, John Minto, Uesifili Unasa, Penny Bright and David Willmott will join the current mayor, Len Brown, who is seeking re-election.

They will be talking about their future endeavours for this city prior to the local government election in October.

VCC Associate Pastor, Paul Saunders, says it’s a great opportunity for residents to meet the candidates and make an informed decision about who should be the mayor to lead Auckland into the future.

“Everyone should seize the chance to get a glimpse of what each one can offer Auckland,” he says.

The event is open to the public and wider community and media are welcome to attend. Free onsite parking is available.
