Welcome to the Party, Mr Peters

Responding to New Zealand First leader Winston Peters’ press release regarding the Prime Minister considering to offer new Act MP David Seymour a Ministerial position, Taxpayers’ Union Executive Director Jordan Williams says:

“It’s great that Mr Peters has picked up on this issue, albeit a day late. But welcome to the party, Mr Peters!”

“We again call on the Prime Minister to assure New Zealanders that ministerial roles are not being given to minor parties as an underhand method for more taxpayer funding.”
