Appointment of Murray Bain as chief executive of the new Ministry of Science and Innovation

The following comment is from the acting chief executive of the Royal Society of New Zealand, Don Smith:

“The Royal Society of New Zealand welcomes the announcement today of the appointment of Murray Bain as the chief executive of the new Ministry of Science and Innovation.

“We already know him well through his role with the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology and look forward to working with him in his new role.”
