The Spirit of Ramadan Arrives at Wyndham Grand Regency Doha

DOHA, Qatar (July 14, 2013) - An authentic Arabian experience awaits guests during the holy month of Ramadan at the Wyndham Grand Regency Doha, named Qatar’s Leading Conference Hotel at this year’s World Travel Awards. With elaborate decorations, staff in traditional costume and sumptuous buffets for Iftar, Ghabga and Sohour, whether part of a larger corporate party or an intimate family gathering, the hotel offers guests a truly indulgent experience.

The hotel’s spectacular 600-square-metre Al Qasr Ballroom provides the perfect setting for those wishing to host a larger scale event. Adorned with traditional Arabian decoration, guests can enjoy a lavish feast of salads, hot and cold Mezzeh and hot specialties including lamb and biryani. Arabic sweets and a large selection of festive juices will also be served. When booked within the first 10 days of Ramadan, the price per person is just QR 99 for groups of 150 or more and groups less than 150 persons will be offered QR 139 net per person in a “Sharing venue”. Children under 12 eat free.

Those wishing to celebrate the holy month in a more intimate setting can do so at the hotel’s Grand Gourmet Restaurant. Designed with families in mind, the decoration and daily Iftar buffet will provide a unique atmosphere in which to celebrate the true spirit of Ramadan. The price per person is QR 169 and children under 12 eat free.

In addition, “Tangia” restaurant will be serving special set menu for Iftar and serves ala carte also. Special Iftar set menu for only QR 179 per person. Open on Sunday during the month of Ramadan and no entertainment.
