International Children’s Peace Prize 2017

Since January 19th 2017, the KidsRights Foundation has been inviting every organisation and/or individual to nominate a child for the Children’s Peace Prize 2017. This prize is awarded annually to a child, whose courageous or otherwise extraordinary efforts have made an impact on behalf of the Rights of the Child.



So far we received some very interesting nominations. However, few nominations were received from New Zealand. We would therefore like to specifically invite you to send in your nomination.



Do you know a child in with a drive, passion and a history in standing up against violations to children's rights? Nominate him or her to be the next International Children's Peace Prize winner. To nominate, please use the attached nomination for and send it before March 17th to nominations@childrenspeaceprize.org


The winner of the International Children's Peace Prize is offered a global platform to promote his or her ideals and future works, reaching and helping children worldwide. The winner receives a study-grant and the Nkosi statue. The Children's Peace Prize is accompanied by a project fund of €100.000, which is invested in projects closely connected to the winner's area of dedication.
