to Coromandel Peninsula, also about Gisborne otherwise fine.

For Marlborough and Canterbury: Fine and clear but later today brief coastal showers spreading north. Fine and frosty tomorrow.

West of the South Island: Fine apart from cloudy periods.

In Otago and Southland: Showers in most places for a time today then showers retreating to the coast and clearing inland. Tomorrow coastal cloud in the south, eslewhere fine and frosty.

Chatham Islands: Showery.
