Kapiti Coast and Wellington: Skies clearing today. Fine and frosty tomorrow.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Fine and frosty apart from showers to the southern fiords.

From Marlborough to Otago, also for Southland: Cloud and showers persisting about the south coast. Fine and frosty elsewhere.

Chatham Islands: Showery.
