Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

Northland: Mostly fine until this evening then showers in most places. Tomorrow showers slowly clearing.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Light showers about Wairarapa spreading elsewhere from later today.

Remaining North Island areas: A mix of cloudy and fine periods, a few light showers for a time today from Wanganui south.

For Nelson, also for the South Island west coast: Mostly fine and frosty.

Coastal Marlborough and Canterbury: Mainly cloudy with light drizzly showers.

For the rest of the South Island: Fine and frosty. A few cloudy areas night and morning.

Chatham Islands: Rain for much of the time.
