Northland to Manawatu, also the central plateau and Bay of Plenty:
Cloud and the odd shower about Northland at first otherwise
Mainly fine.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers gradually clearing from Gisborne,
further south slowly becoming fine.

Wellington: Mostly fine weather. Remaining light showers in the
east clearing.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Patchy rain south of the
glaciers, Further north cloudy periods.

Marlborough and Canterbury: Light showers north of Banks Peninsula
clearing this morning. Fine in most other places.

Otago and Southland: Dry with increasing cloud.

Chatham Islands: Showers continuing.
