Storm Calls Still Arriving

Calls from the public are still being received at the Christchurch City Council storm incident room this afternoon.

But the number had slowed appreciably from the 6000 logged throughout yesterday. Roads latest: Avoca Valley Road is suitable for four-wheel-drive vehicles only. The top of Mount Pleasant Road may be open for use by tomorrow afternoon. Truman Road, Bryndwr, is closed. Other roads are being close temporarily as power lines are fixed.
