Candidate Information Evenings in Manukau

The Manukau City Council is holding Candidate Information
Evenings for prospective candidates in the upcoming local
government elections.
The evenings are a chance for those
wishing to stand for Mayor, Councillor or as a member of a
Community Board to hear about the Local Electoral Act and
the management of the elections within Manukau.
As the
Council is also managing the elections of the
Counties-Manukau District Health Board and the Wiri,
Papatoetoe and Otara Licensing Authorities in the same
election period, prospective candidates for those positions
are also welcome to attend.
The evenings will be held on
18,19 and 24 July in the Council Chambers, Civic Buildings,
Manukau City Centre beginning at
6.00PM.
