Great Hutt City Photo Competition Prizegiving

Hutt City Mayor John Terris will present prizes worth more than $5,500 to the winners of the Great Hutt City Photo Competition at a prizegiving ceremony to be held in the Dowse Art Museum foyer at 5pm today, Thursday 26 July.

The competition asked competitors to explore the relationship between Council, the community and the environment.

More than 300 entries were received across each of the four categories: Cultural diversity; Architecture and heritage; Natural beauty and the environment; People at work and play.

There are prizes for first, second and third; four merit prizes and a prize for the best image submitted by a photographer aged 13 or under.
