Grafton Road Lane Closures

Transit New Zealand advises all motorists travelling in the Grafton Road area that there will be periodic lane closures between Thursday 13th June and Friday 21st June. This is due to the installation of a stormwater pipe as part of the Grafton Gully Project works.

Downhill traffic, between Symonds Street and the Grafton off-ramp, will be reduced to one lane at times during this period.

Pedestrian access will be provided along Grafton Road and pedestrians are asked to follow the sign-posted directions.

Transit would like to thank all motorists and pedestrians in advance for their cooperation and apologise for any inconvenience.

Beach Road Services Relocation

Transit New Zealand advises all motorists travelling in the Beach Road area that there will be lane closures due to services relocation work on Sunday 16th June. These works are part of the Grafton Gully Project.

On Sunday 16th June there will be no access to Beach Road from Parnell Rise and The Strand and this traffic will be diverted through Ronayne Street. Access from Beach Road to Stanley Street, Parnell Rise and The Strand will not be affected.
