Waterfront Watch will be holding a Special General Meeting this Sunday, 30 June AGM at 2pm at the Wellington Rowing Club building by the lagoon. The meeting will address a number of controversial issues:
- The failure of Stage 1 of the Chaffers Design

- The number and
height of new building planned for North Queens Wharf and
the consequent loss of views.
- The “cut-out” in front of
Circa Theatre. Representatives of the theatre will be
present to voice their opinion on the issue.
- The
proposal to relocate Greta Point Tavern to the waterfront
prior to a resource consent being given.
- The revised
plans for a hotel on the outer-T of Queens Wharf.
David Kernohan, chairman of the Waterfront Development Sub-Committee will be present to answer questions and listen to the views of those present.
