NO GENERAL AERIAL OPERATION TOMORROW – FRIDAY, 20 FEBRUARY
There will be NO general aerial operation, against the painted apple moth, tomorrow - Friday, 20 February.
Because of continued windy conditions and forecast unsettled weather patterns the situation is unlikely to be suitable for the current aerial operation to resume tomorrow. Two of the five high-risk areas are still to be treated following the suspension of yesterday’s operation due to high winds.
All treatment days are subject to suitable weather. The situation is being closely monitored and the operation will resume tomorrow or on the next suitable day to complete the remaining 400 hectares in Waikumete Cemetery and Ranui/Swanson.

treatment areas is available on-line at
