Press Release: Waitemata District Health Board
13 October 2004
Waitemata District Health Board Members
Request Inquiry
Waitemata District Health Board members
today asked the Ministry of Health to request that
Parliament’s Justice and Electoral Committee carry out a
full inquiry in to the unacceptable delay in STV vote
processing.
The request followed information provided by
electionz.com Ltd and Datamail today advising there will be
even further delays to the release of preliminary District
Health Board and Council STV results.
The delays have been
attributed to inconsistencies relating to the transfer of
captured votes.
