Lindale Bridge nearly finished
The new overbridge
at Lindale intersection on State Highway 1 just north of
Paraparaumu is expected to be completed and open to traffic
before Labour Weekend.
“We are planning to have the bridge
fully operational within the next ten days – all that needs
to be done is the final sealing work,” said Transit’s
project manager, Jonnette Adams.
Ms Adams said that the
contractors would temporarily run traffic over the bridge
tomorrow (15 October) to compact the base course in
preparation for sealing.
“When the base course is
sufficiently compacted they will close the bridge again to
carry out the sealing work. We aim to have the sealing work
completed and the bridge open to traffic on 21 October but
this is dependant on getting enough dry weather to carry out
the sealing work.”
Motorists are reminded to take extra
care while this work is in progress.

According to the US Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organisation, the abortion pills can be safely self-administered at home within the first ten weeks of pregnancy, rather than via a surgical procedure carried out in a bricks-and-mortar abortion clinic...
