Work continues at Matiatia
Work has begun to reinstate the trench along Ocean View Road between the Matiatia Ferry Terminal and the sewage treatment plant.
The reinstatement work will see the road surface removed and replaced in four stages of approximately 120m each.
While work is underway, vehicles will not be able to park along the roadside between 6am and 6pm weekdays. Signage will be in place to notify drivers.
The work is scheduled to be completed by 11 November. Adams Landscape Ltd will be completing the work on behalf of Auckland City.
The trench was temporarily reinstated after the installation of rising main for the sewer pump in February 2004.
