New exhibition showcases Addington’s past, present and
future
A new exhibition titled Addington Discovery has
opened at Our City O-Tautahi.
The exhibition offers a
narrative of life in Addington, by exploring the richness of
the community’s past, present and future through a variety
of mediums – oral history recordings, photography and
objects.
Addingotn Discovery is a collaborative
exhibition made possible by funding from Spreydon/Heathcote
Community Board and Christchurch City Council; and as a
result of a community project held as part of Heritage Week
2005.
Our City O-Tautahi is located in the original
Municipal Chambers on the corner of Oxford Terrace and
Worcester Boulevard (opposite Rydges
Hotel).

Now that the right of US women to abortion (formerly protected by Roe v Wade) has been abolished, the important role of medication-induced abortion will come even more to the fore.
