Congratulations to Creative HQ graduate

Positively Wellington Business is delighted with the success of Optimal Usability, a graduate of their Creative HQ business incubator programme, which was named start-up of the year at the Telecom New Zealand Incubator Awards.

“We’d like to extend our congratulations to directors Sam Ng and Trent Mankelow. We’ve watched Optimal Usability’s progress with great interest since they began in our Creative HQ incubation programme and this award is testament to their continued hard work, strong business ideas and drive to succeed,” says Philip Lewin, Chief Executive of Positively Wellington Business.

The Creative HQ incubation programme helps some of Wellington’s top start-up businesses succeed by providing business mentoring, networks and advice, office space, reduced overhead costs and access to expert help.

“Optimal Usability’s success in the awards is testament to the strong start incubators provide to our best new businesses. By providing infrastructure and support, companies like Optimal Usability are free to focus on developing what matters most – their innovative products and services,” says Mr Lewin.

Creative HQ supports up to twenty businesses at any time. With another group of thriving start-up businesses having recently graduated, Positively Wellington Business is looking forward to helping more exciting new crop of businesses develop through the programme.

“Creative HQ residents need to have great ideas, clear vision and a strong desire to make their business ideas a reality. Optimal Usability’s success in the Awards proves just how far a business can grow in their two years of incubation,” Mr Lewin says.

Creative HQ is based in central Wellington and funded by Positively Wellington Business and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
