Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 1 April to Friday 7 April

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on the Northern Busway and Esmonde Interchange upgrade over the next week (weather permitting).

Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April – CLOSED – during the day and overnight from 6am on Saturday until 6pm on Sunday for relocation of a pylon:
- Northcote Rd on-ramp (SH1 southbound)

Sunday 2 to Thursday 6 April – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning to allow for ducting and paving works:
- Northcote Rd off-ramp (SH1 southbound)

Tuesday 4 April – CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5am Wednesday for barrier placement:
- Tristram Ave off-ramp (SH1 southbound)
- However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work at this time, work will be carried out on 5 April and 6 April 2006.

Monday 3 April – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am on Tuesday for surveying:
- Esmonde Rd eastbound between Barry’s Point Rd and Burns Ave
- Esmonde Rd westbound between Lake Rd and Barry’s Point Rd

Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 April – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for surveying and set-out:
- Northcote Rd on-ramp (SH1 southbound)
- Northcote Rd westbound between Taharoto Rd and the SH1 northbound off-ramp

Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 April – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for surveying and set-out:
- Northcote Rd eastbound between the SH1 northbound on-ramp and Taharoto Rd

Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
