Media Release

Pedestrian footpath on Wairau Road closed for two months

The footpath on the northern side of Wairau Road (Westlake Boy’s High School) will be closed for two months beginning Monday 1 May.

The footpath, between Porana Road and Forrest Hill Road, will be closed so work can begin on building a new bridge for motorists and buses over Wairau Road as part of the Northern Busway Project.

The footpath on the southern side of Wairau Road (Westlake Girl’s High School) will stay open.
