Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 3 June to Friday 9 June

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for the construction of the Northern Busway over the next week (weather permitting).

Wednesday 7 June
ONEWA RD INTERCHANGE
NORTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am Thursday to allow for temporary barrier removal:
. Motorists are to use Esmonde Rd off-ramp as an alternative.
. However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work at this time, work will be carried out on 8 June 2006.

Wednesday 7 June
ALL SH1 SOUTHBOUND MOTORWAY LANES
FROM CONSTELLATION DR TO TRISTRAM AVE - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am Thursday to allow for temporary barrier placement:
. Motorists are to access the motorway southbound at Tristram Ave or Esmonde Rd on-ramps
. As part of this closure the Constellation Dr on-ramp, SH1 southbound, will also be closed at the same time.

Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 June
NORTHCOTE RD INTERCHANGE
SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED - overnight on both nights from 9pm until 5am the following morning to allow for temporary barrier movements:
. Motorists are to Tristram Ave or Onewa Rd off-ramps as alternatives.

Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
