Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 4 November to Friday 10 November

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

Sunday 5 November
NORTHCOTE RD
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd - CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5am for barrier movements.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Monday 6 November
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave off-ramp

Sunday 5 – Tuesday 7 November
TRISTRAM AVE
Southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 – CLOSED - from 9pm until 5am the following morning for barrier movements.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 8 & Thursday 9 November
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp

Monday 6 – Thursday 9 November
ESMONDE RD & NORTHCOTE RD
All SH1 Motorway lanes northbound between Esmonde Rd and Northcote Rd – CLOSED - from 10pm until 5am the following morning for gantry and bridge works.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp

Tuesday 7 November
WAIRAU RD
Wairau Rd between Porana Rd and Forrest Hill Rd – CLOSED – from 9pm until 5am for work on the new bridge.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Forrest Hill Rd

Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 November
NORTHCOTE RD & ONEWA RD
All SH1 Motorway lanes southbound between Northcote Rd and Onewa Rd - CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for works on a sign gantry.
* As part of this closure the Esmonde Rd SH1 southbound on-ramp will be closed from 9pm on the same dates
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 8 & Thursday 9 November
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd on-ramp

Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 November
NORTHCOTE RD
Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd – CLOSED – from 9pm until 5am the following morning for lane realignment.
* This will only happen if the full SH1 closure above does not take place
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd off-ramp

Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 November
CONSTELLATION DR & TRISTRAM AVE
All SH1 Motorway lanes southbound between Constellation Dr and Tristram Ave – CLOSED - from 9pm until 5am on Wednesday 8 November and from 10pm until 5am on Thursday 9 November for barrier movements.
* As part of these closures the Constellation Dr SH1 southbound on-ramp will be closed at the same times
* Note that this closure will not take place if the full SH1 closure above is delayed to Wednesday 8 or Thursday 9 November
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave or Northcote Rd on-ramp

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
