CraftWerk Returns - Celebrating el Dia de los Muertos

Every year millions of people celebrate Dia De Los Mertos, This Craftwerk we're bringing it to Wellington with a special Day of the Dead Fiesta at The Southern Cross on Thursday November 23rd from 5-9pm

We've got any and all edible/wearable/lovable crafts you can imagine. That includes silk-screened items, vintage clothing, cosmetics, knitwear, jewelry, paper goods, handbags, ornaments, cards, cupcakes and tons more.

It's guaranteed to be the perfect source for all your holiday shopping needs!

The Cross is getting behind it all with custom margaritas and mexican food. We've got bands, dancing, pinatas and a special one night only Mexican arm wrestling tournament.

Once again, Thanks to Juniper Gallery (114 Riddiford st, Newtown) our much sort after gift bags are back, this time for the first 100 patrons through the door at 5pm.

Buy handmade for the holidays! Support over 2 dozen local artists as they showcase their awesome creations at this final Craftwerk of 2006. Come have a drink and shop for the holidays at this alternative craft show. Christmas shopping to do? Skip the stores! and buy DIY.

Craftwerk - Dia de los muertos Thursday 23rd November, 5-9pm Southern Cross Garden, Bar and Restaurant Free and open to the public, under 18s welcome with parents/guardians.
