Busway Traffic Bulletin November 25 - December 1

Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Buswayconstruction (weather permitting).

Sunday 26 November
NORTHCOTE RD
Southbound on-ramp from Northcote Rd to SH1 - CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for placing barriers along edge of ramp.
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on either Monday 27 – Thursday 30 November
• This closure will only take place if either Tristram Ave or Esmonde Rd closure is not required
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Esmonde Rd or Tristram Ave on-ramps

Sunday 26 and Monday 27 November
ESMONDE RD
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Esmonde Rd- CLOSED – overnight from 9pmuntil 5amthe following morning for paving works.
• As part of this closure the Akoranga Dr eastbound link to Esmonde Rd may be closed at the same times
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd off-ramp

Sunday 26 – Thursday 30 November
ESMONDE RD
Southbound on-ramp from Esmonde Rdto SH1 - CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5amthe following morning for paving works.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd on-ramp

Monday 27 November
NORTHCOTE RD
Northbound on-ramp from Northcote Rdto SH1 - CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5amfor ducting under motorway.
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Tuesday 28 November
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave on-ramp

Tuesday 28 November
NORTHCOTE RD
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd - CLOSED – overnight from 9pmuntil 5am for barrier movements.
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 November
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Aveoff-ramp

Wednesday 29 November
TRISTRAM AVE
Southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 - CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for the removal of barriers from the traffic island.
• Tristram Ave westbound between Rains Ave and the southbound motorway ramps will be closed at the same time
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Thursday 30 November
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd or Constellation Dr on-ramps

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
