Resurfacing work scheduled for Knox Street

Resurfacing work along a busy section of road will be carried out during off-peak hours this week to minimise the effect on traffic.

This Thursday and Friday [1-2 February], Knox Street from Victoria Street to Anglesea Street is being milled - removing the road's top layer - and resurfaced.

The road works are dependent on weather conditions. If rain causes delays, the road works will be rescheduled for the next available fine day.

Traffic management will be in place. Knox Street will be open in both directions but will have a stop-go operation in place at the Victoria Street end.

This work is part of the re-surfacing programme.
