Kaitaia Police are investigating a serious assault
which took place in West Lane, the service alley behind the
BNZ Bank at approximately 2.30am on Sunday morning the 8th
of July 2007.
A 34 year old male person is currently in Whangarei Hospital in a critical condition as a result of injuries received.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in or around Joe's Garage Bar, Commerce Street, Bank Street or the service alley area at around this time, and who may be able to assist Police with their enquiries.
