In addition to his legal qualification Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Forestry Science (Canterbury) and will bring to the Trust a unique blend of forestry and legal experience. Andrew is a Member of the NZ Institute of Forestry and is Chairman of the Institute’s Auckland Section.

Dr Andrew McEwen is a registered forestry consultant based in Wellington. After 37 years with government and a State Enterprise, he established his own consultancy firm in 1999. Andrew is currently Vice President of the NZ Institute of Forestry. Andrew hopes that his wide experience in the NZ forestry sector will assist the management and operations of the Trust.
