"So you need to declutter!"

Free Christchurch Workshop to celebrate National Organising Week
CHRISTCHURCH, 6TH AUGUST 2007:

The Organising Guru, Wendy Davie, will be holding free workshop in Christchurch on 5th September 2007. This workshop titled "So you need to declutter!", is part of National Organising Week (NOW '07) celebrations.

"So you need to declutter!" will appeal to anybody who has a space in their home or office that needs to be sorted and organised. Participants will learn the steps to planning, sorting, storing, organising and maintaining that space. They can then leave the workshop and declutter any area themselves, knowing that it is a task that when broken down into simple steps, is far less daunting then first thought.

Most of us procrastinate when it comes to getting organised, we think it will take to long or be to difficult. so the workshop aims to bust those myths and give people to tools to stop procrastinating..

One of the key elements of NOW '07 is for people to be able to get organised themselves. By attending this workshop they will learn the steps. Kiwi's love DIY, and getting organised is no different. Sometimes we just need someone to show us how.

National Organising Week was launched by The Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (www.aapo.org.au), and will be held between September 3rd -9th 2007. People around New Zealand are being encouraged to get organised.

Wendy Davie has approached "Dress for Success" around New Zealand to be the recipients of any wardrobe organising sessions.

"Not only is NOW '07 about getting ourselves more organised, but it is also a great way to give a little back. Dress for Success is a great charity that provides clothing to women who have been out of the workforce and need a bit of assistance to get geared up for interviews and returning to work. They are happy to receive donations of work ready clothes and accessories during NOW '07"

Here is a great opportunity to learn the steps to being more organised in one evening, then going away and making a difference.
