Police investigate Scorching Bay
death
Wellington Police are investigating the death of a
man at his Scorching Bay home today.
Detective Senior
Sergeant Paul Borrell, Wellington CIB, said family members
found the body of a 69-year-old man in the garden of his
Karaka Bay home about 9.20am.
"The circumstances of how
the man died are as yet unclear," Detective Senior Sergeant
Borrell said. "Police are talking with the man's family who
are naturally distraught. They are also receiving help from
Victim Support."
Police have utilised the services of the
ESR and a pathologist at the address due to some unusual
aspects surrounding this death. A Post Mortem will occur
tomorrow morning and is expected to assist in clarifying
these aspects by providing a clearer cause of death.
The
man's name is Adrianus Johanus
VLUG.
