Bank Robbery: At about 2pm on 3/4/08 a male has entered the BNZ bank in Cromwell, Central Otago, wearing a mask. He has presented a note and demanded money. A female teller has handed over an undisclosed amount of money which was put into a bag the offender was carrying. He has then left on foot. No weapons were seen. Police have responded from the surrounding region and witnesses are currently being spoken to. Further information, including the offender's description will be released when available.
