Truck Accident: SH 1 Oakleigh, Whangarei
At approximately 1.15pm this afternoon a
logging truck crashed into a bank on SH1, Oakleigh,
Whangarei.
The driver has sustained serious injuries after
being hit by a log from the truck trailer.
The Serious
Crash Unit is investigating and the road is closed while
they carry out their investigation.
Diversions are in place at Maungakaramea Road and SH 1 for southbound traffic and at Mangapai Road and SH 1 for northbound traffic.
