'Wellington As A Sustainable City' Discussion


Te Aro School Hall, Tuesday 28 October 2008, 7PM

Wellington as a sustainable city is an important issue for the capital, and one which evokes much discussion in the media, in homes, and in local and national businesses – over 700 businesses around the country are members of the Sustainable Business Network.

Grant Robertson, Labour candidate for Wellington Central, invites you to a discussion about sustainable development in Wellington, taking place at Te Aro School on Tuesday 28 October at 7pm.

Professor Philippa Howden-Chapman, Director of the New Zealand Centre for Sustainable Cities, will be addressing research and issues relating to sustainability in cities

Interest groups and the general public have also been invited to attend and contribute to the discussion to help ensure Wellington is a sustainable city, and to discuss what roles government, businesses, communities and individuals can play.
