Nelson police
have jointly charged a 30 year old male, and a 21 year old
female with injuring their 17 week old baby.
Both have
been charged with 'Wounding with Intent to cause Grievous
Bodily harm' and 'Failing to Supply the Necessaries of
Life'.
The charges relate to severe brain injuries the
baby received on or about the 27th October, 2008, which were
discovered when the baby was admitted to Nelson Hospital
that same day.
Both will be appearing at the Nelson
District Court during the afternoon of the 03/12/2008.
