Police are currently attending a train vs vehicle collision on Pukepapa Rd, Marton.
Although the vehicle received excessive damage it was able to leave the scene.
After a short search the vehicle was located and Police are currently speaking to the driver.
As a result Pukepapa Road near the intersection with Russell Street will be closed for some time.
