A baby, reported missing from Whangärei
Hospital last night, has been returned safe and well.
The four-month-old baby was brought into the hospital by her mother and family this morning.
Media interest in the baby has alerted the family to the situation and led them to bring the baby to the hospital.
The baby's return to the hospital has alleviated fears for the baby's wellbeing and the baby is currently receiving the medical treatment it required.
