Lower Hutt Police make arrest

Lower Hutt Police have arrested a 26 year old male, after investigating a number of Indecent Assault and Indecent Act offences committed in the Lower Hutt area since late January this year.
A number of these offences have occurred at the Woburn Railway Station, Ava Railway Bridge and outside a local college.
The male is described as a Pacific Islander, of solid build, approximately 180cm tall.
Police would like to speak with any person who may have witnessed a male fitting this description committing any form of inappropriate behaviour in the Lower Hutt area, if they have not already spoken to the Police.
The male is due to appear in the Lower Hutt District Court on Wednesday 4th March 2009, charged with six offences of Indecent Assault and four offences of Indecent Act.
