MAXX to Vector Arena to see the Kings of Leon

      
On Wednesday 25 March, Kings of Leon fans bound for Vector Arena to see the rock and roll kings on their eagerly anticipated tour can avoid parking woes and travel with ease on public transport services to and from the event.

Vector Arena is approximately 10 minutes walk from the Britomart Transport Centre and the Downtown Ferry Terminal. A regular timetable will be operating for all buses, trains and ferries travelling to Britomart.

The Link bus, which stops on Beach Road close to Vector Arena, is a good way to get to the show. Passengers can catch The Link from various locations around the CBD, Parnell, Newmarket, Karangahape Road and Ponsonby. The cash fare is $1.60 one way.

Fans are advised to allow plenty of time to get to Vector Arena in time for the start of the show.

Additional train services will be operating to take fans home after the performance. On the Southern Line, a train will depart Britomart for Otahuhu (via Newmarket South and Ellerslie) at 11.40pm and on the Eastern Line a train will depart Britomart for Papakura (via Glen Innes and Sylvia Park) at 11.45pm. 

An additional Northern Express bus service will also be in operation to take fans home to the North Shore following the gig.  It will depart from Britomart for Albany at 11.45pm, travelling via all Northern Busway stations.

Please note that ferries will be running to their normal timetable, with the last ferry departing Downtown for Devonport at 11pm.

Normal bus, train and ferry fares will apply.
