Police seeking witnesses for Pauatahanui crash

Porirua Police are seeking information from witnesses to the crash on Grays Road Pauatahanui. They would also like to hear from a female jogger who was seen in the area at around 6pm on Sunday 12 July when the crash occurred.

Police have released the names of the deceased. They are Udo Fourie and Nathan John Laurenson, both 18 year old males who lived locally. The men were traveling as passengers in the Subaru Impreza.

Detective Sergeant Glenn Barnett says investigation into the collision is continuing. "We're examining the scene as well as both vehicles. At this point in time, it is too early to comment on any of the factors to the crash or whether any charges will be laid".
