A single car crash in the Leeston area of Canterbury as resulted in the death of the driver of that vehicle.

He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

A Police investigation is currently underway.

Details of the deceased will not be released until later in the day.

Leeston Police are investigating the crash and related death.
