Manukau Multi-Millionaire Missing for a Month

NZ Lotteries is urging all South Auckland players to check their Big Wednesday tickets, as one lucky player who purchased their ticket from Crandell Peters Paper Plus in Manukau for the 17 November 2010 draw is yet to claim their $4.8 million luxury prize package.

NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay says it is very unusual for a big winner to have not claimed their prize by this time.

“For four weeks we have had the luxury prize package, made up of $3 million cash, plus an Audi R8, a Porsche Cayenne, a Visa Platinum card loaded with $250,000, $250,000 towards luxury travel, and $750,000 cash towards a bach, ready and waiting for its new owner.

“It’s such a fantastic prize package and what a difference it could make to someone’s Christmas. We would love for the winner to now come forward and claim their prize,” says Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

“We have had winners find old tickets in the glove boxes of their cars, stuffed in drawers or stuck to their fridges – so we urge all our Auckland players who bought a Big Wednesday ticket at Crandall Peters Paper Plus in Manukau to search out those yellow pieces of paper and check them at any local Lotto shop.”

Meanwhile, an overwhelmed couple from Auckland, who also purchased their winning tickets from Crandell Peters Paper Plus last week, have claimed their $500,000 Lotto First Division prize.

Excited owner/operator Katie Treneman is very excited with selling two top prizes in under a month, “It’s great, we’re becoming a really lucky Lotto shop with our winning roll!”.

The shop has previously sold nine Lotto First Division winning tickets.
