Police have completed the scene examination of the earlier reported fatal crash on Waitakere Road.
Fire Police are manning diversions as the final road clearance is completed.
This should take a further 30 minutes.
Lines contractors estimate it will take up to three hours to reinstate the damaged pole and restore service to the area. During this time partial closures may be required and motorists are requested to take care as the work is carried out.
