Car v Train Crashs

At 0243 hrs Police were advised of a car being hit by a train at the Harewood Road crossing in Christchurch. Three people received moderate injuries and the car driver was processed for drink driving.

At 0418 hrs at Dillons Point Rd Blenheim a car was hit by a train, one person was injured and taken to hospital.

Police are investigating both crashes.
