National Crisis Centre Activated To Support Hawke's Bay
National Crisis Management Centre activated to support Hawkes Bay response to flooding
The Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management has activated the National Crisis Management Centre (NCMC) at the Beehive to support Hawkes Bay's response to flooding.
The National Controller, David Coetzee, said the Hawkes Bay Regional Civil Defence Emergency Management Group is leading the response to the flooding.
"We have activated the NCMC to be able to support the Group and to coordinate central government support, should that be needed," Mr Coetzee said.
